NSPCC Number Day
Last Friday, we took part in Number Day - a maths fundraising day for the NSPCC.
A day dedicated to maths may not sound the most exciting to everyone, but Number Day is so much more than that. Number Day serves to celebrate the importance of maths as well as the importance of treating and raising children correctly.
Lyndhurst staff and pupils dressed up in numbered items of clothing, some boys even created their own costumes to wear on the day.
Our headmaster Mr Reid, gave out Pantosaurus prizes to the best costumes.
As a school, we raised an outstanding £1,010 for the NSPCC. Funds raised from Number Day will help support vital NSPCC services such as Stay Safe‚ which visits primary schools across the UK to teach children about the dangers of abuse and what they can do if they need help.
