U9 Inter House Football

After postponing the tournament before half term, we were finally able to hold our inter-house competition with our year 3 and 4s taking part.

The first match saw Keats come away with a convincing performance and result against Seacole, winning the opening game 5-0 thanks to goals from Rocco (3) and Charlie (2). Seacole then faced Winton in the 2nd round of the tournament. Seacole showed great character in this one, having had a tough time against Keats. Having gone a goal down to Keats after Jonathan scored early on, Seacole found a goal back with the last kick of the game through captain Freddie. The final was set up nicely, with Winton knowing they needed to win to claim the prize and Keats only needing to avoid defeat. Again Winton got off to the perfect start through Jonathan scoring early on, but Keats fought back and got the equaliser through Rocco.

The final standings were:

In 3rd place Seacole with 1 point, 2nd place were Winton with 2 points and 1st place was Keats with 4 points. Many congratulations to Keats for winning the tournament and well done to all boys who took part.
